Dependencies & Host Environment
avm is compiled directly to machine code with zero external runtime dependencies.
Supported Operating Systems
- • macOS (Apple Silicon arm64, Intel x86_64)
- • Linux (x86_64, aarch64; glibc)
- • Windows x64 with PowerShell, cmd.exe forwarding and native plugins
Runtime Dependencies
No language runtime required. Plugin installs use host tools such as curl and tar; Android also needs a JDK (and unzip on Unix). No Node.js, Python, Ruby, or GCC is required to run the core avm-bin.
